Dear,
On behalf of the National Service Team (NST) of
the National Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services
(NCCRS) I bring you very warm wishes for a HAPPY
AND FRUITFUL NEW YEAR 2010. May the New Year be
the beginning of greater joy and beautiful moments
for you and your family to cherish each day and
all year through!
You have been a well wisher and benefactor of
the NCCRS and I thank you once again for your
great generosity not only with your valuable and
fervent prayer support, but also with your financial
support.
2009 The year of great awakening: I
am happy to enclose herewith a report on the programmes
that were organized by the NST during the year
2009. This report has been sent to you, to give
you a feedback on the work done and also as we
feel accountable to our benefactors. During this
year we have almost covered people from all walks
of life with our national level renewal programmes.
Bishops, Priests, Religious Sisters, Seminarians,
Formators, lay leaders, Principals and Managers
of Colleges and schools, Businessmen, Bureaucrats,
Senior Executives, etc., were enriched by the
different programmes conducted by the NST, viz.,
Empowerment Camps, Leaders Conference, Retreats,
Seminars and Convention. This being the Year
for Priests, the NST conducted 12 retreats
exclusively for the Priests in different Dioceses,
within four months.
2010 A year of great hope: During
the year 2010 we are organizing similar programmes
as in the previous year (programme schedule is
enclosed).
NIC The Powerhouse of CCR
As you are aware, 24-hours perpetual Adoration
and Intercession takes place at the National Intercession
Centre (NIC) housed in the NCO premises. Three
Sisters from the Congregation of Missionary Sisters
of Mary Immaculate (MSMI) and two intercessors
from the Kingdom Ministry pray round the clock
for the Church, the Catholic Charismatic Renewal
(CCR), our benefactors and for hundreds of prayer
requests received from all over India. If NST
could do so much for the renewal during the past
many years, we could say without any of hesitation
that the source of energy, wisdom and direction
has been the Lord in the Eucharist. The intercessors
are residing at the NCO premises and are fully
supported by the NCO. For your prayer needs please
contact nco@vsnl.net or call us at the 24-hour
prayer line 011-42133304.
Your support is critically necessary!
To keep this source of strength and grace
flowing, along with all the operational costs
at the NCO, we require to spend nearly Rs.15 lakhs
a year on maintenance of the NCO premises, staff
salaries, postage, telephone, travel, maintenance
expenses of the intercessors, etc. May I take
the liberty to confide in you that on account
of acquisition and renovation of the NCO premises
in 2005, there is still a balance loan of Rs.300,000/-
to be repaid.
We want to be able to continue to serve the needs
of the Church that we might give as God has given
freely and abundantly! We are grateful
for the way the Lord has enabled us to do this
through your generous contributions and prayer
support right through the year 2009. To help our
ministry to grow during the year 2010, we humbly
request you to volunteer your support in the capacity
the Lord has blessed you with.
